Tutu Ambassador with close royal links at BFI screening of Blue Planet II
It was good to see Tutu Ambassador and Deputy Lieutenant for Greater London, Colleen Harris welcoming the Duke of Cambridge to the BFI IMAX cinema in London for a recent World Premiere screening of the BBC’s new wildlife series Blue Planet II.
Prince William, a great fan of veteran filmmaker and presenter Sir David Attenborough, was guest of honour at an advance screening of the documentary’s first episode which will be screened later this year.
It was also attended by Sir David himself as well as Countryfile presenter Ellie Harrison. The programme, made by the BBC’s Natural History Unit, explores the natural wonders and marine life of the world’s oceans.
Colleen has known Prince William for many years. She is a former press secretary to his father HRH the Prince of Wales and media managed the emergence of Princes William and Harry into the public eye.
As a communications professional operating at the highest level her expertise as a team leader makes her an ideal ambassador for the Tutu Foundation UK.
