One of Clive Conway Productions’ most popular speakers, Tim Brooke-Taylor, will be reunited with his former colleagues from The Goodies in the new year as the legendary comedy programme celebrates its half century.
Tim will be joined by old mates Bill Oddie and Graeme Garden at Bristol’s Slapstick Festival on Saturday January 25th. The show, at the city’s Redgrave Theatre, looks set to be an evening of mirth and mayhem as all three members of the classic comedy team discuss the extraordinary legacy of their award-winning TV series (1970-82).
The event will be hosted on stage by Robin Ince from BBC Radio 4’s Infinite Monkey Cage and takes the form of an ‘in conversation’ session complete with a full screening of a classic episode of the show hand picked as the public’s favourite via an online poll. It will be followed by a Q&A with the boys.
Watch out also in the coming year for Tim’s own ‘in conversation’ style show Oh Goody! on the Clive Conway Production’s circuit. The popular evening finds Tim chatting with That’s Life’s Chris Serle about not only The Goodies but I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue and much more.
