Shows postponed amid coronavirus theatres shutdown
We had been looking forward to a raft of new dates by Britain’s most popular soprano Lesley Garrett. The effervescent singer had been due to start a new tour with Clive Conway Productions on Wednesday 1st April.
Inevitably, in the face of the coronavirus theatres shutdown, her delightful evening of song, reminiscences and chat, has been postponed along with all other shows.
“To quote Lesley’s own website: Like the whole country, we hope that this terrible situation will reach as early and successful conclusion as possible and that we can then resume our concert-going. We are in discussion with all of the promoters of Lesley's 2020 events and we hope that they can be rescheduled at the earliest possible opportunity when matters are clearer.
In the meantime, please stay safe; follow all of the advice that the government if offering and Lesley hopes to see you all again very soon!”
Keep in touch with theatres where you may have booked tickets and watch this space or go to Lesley’s website lesleygarrett.co.uk for further information.
