More talks on the way from wildlife presenter Kate Humble

Kate Humble

Ever popular wildlife writer and presenter Kate Humble has just completed a compelling series of fascinating talks about her new book, Thinking on my Feet, and her life working around the world.

The good news is Kate will be back with Clive Conway Productions for another series of talks in the new year.

An Audience with Kate Humble is a great evening which apart from focusing on her book also offers the audience a unique chance to go 'behind the camera' as Kate describes how her programmes are made along with some lovely anecdotes about filming.

There have been plenty of them. The second series of Kate's popular BBC programme Back to the Land which aired recently was the latest in a long line of programmes she has presented for the BBC. These include Springwatch and Autumn Watch, Wild Shepherdess, Yellowstone: Wildest Winter to Blazing Summer, Curious Creatures and Extreme Wives with Kate Humble.

Her book Thinking on My Feet tells the story of Kate’s walking year – shining a light on the mood-lifting, idea-inspiring benefits of her daily walks (and runs). Covering a single year, it also describes the feelings, impressions  and perspective on life that only a journey on foot can give.

She really does have a unique story to tell. In 2007 she and her husband Ludo moved to a smallholding in Wales and in 2011 set up Humble by Nature a rural skills school on a working farm in the Wye Valley. They live with a variety of feathered and furry livestock and three dogs.

As well as being a farmer, writer, activist, entrepreneur and leading TV presenter, Kate is an engaging speaker and a thoughtful and talented writer. You can pick up a personal signed copy of Thinking on My Feet at ant of her speaking events.
